Volunteer With Us
Do something good.
Volunteers play a special role in the life of Crowley. They bring friendship, companionship and a valuable connection to the wider community for our residents, clients and their families. Their contribution also strengthens the care and services our staff provide every day.
Volunteering at Crowley is a truly rewarding experience. It offers the opportunity to meet wonderful people, learn new skills, share your talents and make a genuine difference in someone’s life. For many, it becomes a meaningful way to give back to the community.
Our volunteer program follows the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement in Not-For-Profit Organisations. We strive to provide a positive, welcoming and supportive experience for every volunteer.
There are many ways to get involved. All we ask is your time, your commitment to care, and the unique talents you bring.
If you are interested in becoming a Crowley volunteer, we would love to hear from you. Contact our team to register your interest.

Ways You Can Volunteer
Visitor and Companion
Spend time with a resident or client, offering friendship, conversation and companionship. Sometimes a friendly face, a listening ear and a shared story can make all the difference.
Social Activities and Support
Bring fun, friendship and companionship to Crowley. Help residents and clients enjoy games, reading, group activities and social events, or simply provide someone to talk and listen to.
Transport Driver
Help residents and clients get where they need to go by providing door-to-door transport and assistance. You may also drive the Crowley bus for Leisure and Lifestyle outings and activities.
Gardening Assistance
Share your green thumb while spending time with our residents. Help maintain our gardens, enjoy a chat and share a few stories along the way.
Mass and Church Attendance
Provide door-to-door assistance for residents and clients who would like to attend Mass or church, helping them stay connected with their faith and community.
Meal Assistance
Provide gentle, caring and encouraging support to residents who need assistance with meals, while offering friendly company and conversation at mealtimes.
Meal Delivery
Help deliver nutritious meals to people in the community. Collect meals from the Crowley kitchen and deliver them according to the scheduled delivery route, providing a friendly face and a welcome connection along the way.

Crowley Care Auxiliary
Our wonderful Crowley Care Auxiliary members are a generous, caring group of volunteers who organise fundraising raffles and events, while also enjoying fun social gatherings together. Their incredible efforts make a real difference, supporting and enriching the lives of our residents in meaningful ways.
If you love meeting new people, staying connected to your community, and making a positive impact, we warmly invite you to join the Crowley Care Auxiliary. Meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month at Crowley’s Education Centre and are followed by a delicious afternoon tea and friendly conversation.
You can also support the Auxiliary by purchasing a raffle ticket (or three) and be in the running for fantastic prizes. Visit Crowley Reception for more information.
For details on upcoming events and activities organised by the Auxiliary, visit our What’s On page.
"With friendship, laughter and a strong sense of community spirit, our Auxiliary continues to grow stronger each year. 2025 was, without hesitation, the most successful year of fundraising in our history."
