Crowley has an amazing opportunity for an Administration Trainee to join our team while undertaking a nationally recognised qualification. While previous administration experience is not necessary, as this is a traineeship, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar software is highly desirable.

Maintenance Officer
Full Time

Crowley Care are seeking a Maintenance Officer to join the Maintenance Team at our Ballina residential care facility. Reporting to the Assets & Maintenance Manager, we are seeking a trade qualified and experienced person, ideally with a carpentry, building and/or facilities maintenance background for this hands-on role.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Perform a broad range of general maintenance duties including carpentry, framing and gyprock repairs;
  • Undertake ongoing improvement of facilities, general repairs and maintenance as needed;
  • Supervise and work with external contractors when required;
  • Be flexible in their capacity to move between jobs as required by the organisation; and
  • Be available on-call after hours.

To be successful in this position you will have:

  • Minimum five years’ trades experience;
  • Trade qualification in building or carpentry;
  • Demonstrated project management experience;
  • Knowledge and understanding of legislation and regulations relevant to the position, including occupational health and safety, Australian Standards, building regulations, etc.; and
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the maintenance of small machinery and equipment.
